John Rubatt is a retired business executive with over three decades of experience in the insurance and employee benefits industry. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, John Rubatt earned his bachelor's degree in accounting and finance.

Mr. Rubatt's professional journey began at Fortis Insurance, where he served as assistant controller for 9 years. During this time, he successfully transformed a disorganized financial department by eliminating backlogs and implementing efficient procedures for financial reporting. His next role as account executive for large group sales at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Wisconsin involved sales and account management. In that position, he achieved 100 percent client retention over a 2-year period.

Mr. Rubatt then served as senior vice president at Willis Towers Watson. During his 22-year tenure there, he worked with companies of between 200 and 2,000 employees on comprehensive benefit packages. His responsibilities included health, life, disability, and dental insurance, as well as wellness programs and legislative matters.

Mr. Rubatt is a devout Christian and active church member. He also has extensive experience in coaching sports skills and life lessons. His other interests include golf and reading.
